The purpose of family counseling is to reduce conflict and distress.  In family therapy sessions, we hope to improve the way family members interact with each other.  We can work on such issues as communication, conflict resolution,

Family therapy often helps even when one individual member seems to be the only one with a problem, such as anxiety, depression or acting out.

During a family counseling session, I may meet with the entire family, or any combination of it's members.  I strive to create a safe environment in which each member can express his or her point of view comfortably.

Additionally, family therapy can be very helpful if there is a teen or adolescent in your family that is having problems in living.
